The Science Behind Performance
For anyone of a certain age, you’ll probably remember playing sport on some unforgiving surfaces! Tennis tournaments on hard asphalt courts, sweltering under the summer sun, scabby knees when you slipped, and an aching body every evening. Maybe even worse were the old astro sports turfs, a layer of artificial grass that disguised an unforgiving sub-surface and debilitating long-term injuries.
Luckily, times have changed! And while some suppliers haven’t kept up with the play, we’re proudly ahead of the game, offering innovative solutions that are good for you and good for the environment!

Technology to Perform
We want you to be able to play…and play and play and play! Which is why we’ve got the surfaces with the technology to ensure you can.
- Reliable Footing
Our Laykold® surfaces are next level, including the Masters Float system, one that offers premium cushioning for 20% force reduction. Oh, and did we mention our slip-resistant surfaces? Reduce the risk of injury from falling and you’ll be playing like a pro all season long!
- Setting the Pace
The world’s best tennis players hit the ball at over 160kph, and they have just a fraction of time to react. They play in the zone and the pace of the court is crucial to their performance and outcome. At the US Open, the world’s best play on the same surface that we can install for you, dialling in on pace ratings and tailoring speed to within 0.5 of a point!
- No Glare
There will be no more squinting when you’re playing on one of our Omnicourt® surfaces! With glare-resistant colours, our surfaces also offer reduced heat generation, mimicking the very best natural lawn courts.

Lean into Green
We care about a sustainable future, which is why we’re proud of the surfaces we lay. Leaning into regenerative sustainability, our technology leads the way:
- Recycled Balls
325 million tennis balls are consumed every year. However, our chosen acrylic surface, Laykold®, is giving these balls a second life. The only brand with the technology to recycle balls into their court surfaces, up to 10,000 balls are absorbed into a new court. In addition, shock pad underlays and performance infill are sourced from recycled car and truck tyres wherever possible.
- Minimising Our Carbon Footprint
We shop as locally as possible and our products are manufactured in Melbourne, just a short hop skip and jump across the ditch, not a long carbon-spewing journey across the world’s oceans. We’re proud that the product we supply comes from an ISO 9001 Quality Assured and ISO 14001 Environmentally Conscious Facility. This measured approach counts, and it’s scientifically backed. In addition, we strive to source locally available construction material, and you’ll always find us attempting to recycle water during the installation process.
- Reused Packaging
Whenever we can, we always look to minimise the packaging our raw products come in. It’s not science…but it makes sense.
