Just kidding folks, we are happy to share this concoction we have refined of many years of tennis and multisport acrylic court installation, resurfacing and maintenance.

  • Liquid Sodium Hypo Chloride from pool shop. Rates. From 7: 1 up to 10:1
  • Washing Soda (Sodium Carbonate) from hardware store, supermarket. This speeds up the process so is beneficial, giving a better strike rate.
    Rate. Two tablespoons to 15 litre mix.
  • Spray on then water blast off. If possible leave for two days before water blasting.
  • Enjoy your Clean Court!

Ingredients:

  1. Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite – Available at most pool supply shops, this cleaner is highly effective for outdoor sports surfaces. Mix it with water at a dilution ratio of 7:1 to 10:1 (water to cleaner), depending on the level of dirt and grime.
  2. Washing Soda (Sodium Carbonate) – This ingredient, found at hardware stores or supermarkets, speeds up the cleaning process, boosting the effectiveness of the solution. Add two tablespoons per 15-litre mixture.

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Solution – In a large container, combine the Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite and washing soda with water according to the recommended ratios. Stir until the washing soda is fully dissolved.
  2. Apply to the Court – Spray the solution generously over the court surface. For best results, leave it on for about two days to allow the formula to penetrate and lift the dirt.
  3. Blast and Rinse – After letting it sit, use a water blaster to thoroughly rinse off the solution. This final step will remove any remaining residue, leaving your court spotless and ready for play!
